QUICKIE Q50 R Folding Powerchair
The QUICKIE Q50 R is a premium folding powerchair designed to offer the range and outdoor performance of a larger mobility product while folding down to approximately the size of a suitcase for convenient storage.
A major strength of the Q50 R is its exceptional manufacturer-stated 50km (31-mile) range from a single charge. Its 30Ah lithium-ion battery combines with optimised motor efficiency to make the chair particularly suitable for users who want to travel further without sacrificing the convenience of a folding design.
The Q50 R features dual suspension, combining a front rubber damper with rear shock absorbers to reduce shock and vibration over uneven surfaces. Large 12-inch drive wheels provide greater traction, while twin 200W high-efficiency motors allow it to overcome obstacles of up to 50mm.
Its durable aluminium frame uses oval tubing for increased rigidity, while a 600mm overall base width and 1220mm turning circle help make the Q50 R manoeuvrable indoors. For comfort, the seat and back feature tension-adjustable straps, complemented by a breathable foam cushion. Flip-up armrests, a swing-away controller and flip-up centre footrest also help make transfers easier.
When you're finished travelling, the Q50 R folds in seconds without needing to remove the battery. At 37.5kg including the battery, it's suitable for hoisting or two-person lifting, while removing the battery reduces its weight to 32kg
