About this mobility scooter
Rascal Vecta Sport 8mph Mobility Scooter
The Rascal Vecta Sport is a premium Class 3 road mobility scooter that combines serious performance with a surprisingly compact design. At only 132cm long and 60cm wide, it's a great option for somebody wanting the capability and comfort of a larger 8mph scooter without the bulk of some traditional road-going models.
Powered by a high-torque 600W motor, the Vecta Sport reaches speeds of up to 8mph and offers a manufacturer-quoted range of up to 27.3 miles from its twin 50Ah batteries. It also supports users weighing up to an impressive 25 stone / 160kg.
One of the Vecta Sport's standout features is its Max Grip limited-slip differential, designed to help maintain traction across suitable roads, pavements and gradients. This works alongside full adjustable suspension and RunOn pneumatic tyres to provide reassuring handling and a smooth, comfortable ride.
The RunOn pneumatic tyres are particularly clever. They're designed to help the scooter remain mobile following a puncture or loss of tyre pressure, reducing the chance of immediately becoming stranded. Any damaged tyre should, of course, still be inspected and repaired as soon as possible.
Comfort is equally impressive. The supportive Captain's seat swivels and slides forwards and backwards, while lumbar support, a padded backrest and flip-up armrests help create a comfortable driving position. The tiller can also be adjusted towards or away from the driver.
For road use, the Vecta Sport is extremely well equipped. It features bright front and rear LED lighting, indicators and hazard lights, plus a showerproof dashboard and a useful waterproof USB charging outlet for compatible phones or navigation devices.
For somebody looking for a comfortable, powerful and well-equipped 8mph scooter without moving up to an enormous road scooter, the Vecta Sport makes a compelling choice.
